The Washington State Community Action Partnership (WSCAP) works through a network of 30 agencies to serve low-income families & individuals in all 39 counties. These organizations have been providing vital human services for over 40 years.
Community Action is Washington’s safety net.
Hundreds of thousands of people facing challenges and barriers to self-sufficiency receive help, obtain jobs, establish safe homes, receive education and are providing for their families because of help from Community Action.

Les and Christy Payton followed their dream and started a produce business, but with little business experience, the company failed.
They lost everything and became homeless.
The Paytons found their way to Lower Columbia CAP (LCCAP, a Community Action agency), which had developed an array of asset building services.
